JUST DAN

Just Dan is a veteran vocalist having started performing on stage at the early age of 9 on Long Island, N.Y.  He has spent his career of 35 years in Broadcast Television Sales at various Television Stations in Binghamton, N.Y., Dayton, Ohio and Albuquerque, N.M.  However, his first love was singing which he maintained over the same time.  At one point Dan was 2nd Tenor in a 5 voice vocal group singing 50's music called "The Nightlights"  The group lasted about 2 years.  Just as well, as Dan's real love was standards, especially Sinatra.

Over the years Dan has performed with bands, but found himself having to sing music from just a couple of genres. He then started utilizing background recordings with full orchestras to accompany his music.  This allowed him to sing more powerful songs. Audiences have many varied musical interests and tastes and this allowed Dan to offer music for everyone.  Hence, his covers of artists from the musical spectrum..

"Just Dan" uses professional background music to perform cover songs  from such artists as: James Taylor, Elton John, Billy Joel, Frank Sinatra, Kenny Chesney, Garth Brooks, Neil Diamond, Jimmy Buffet, Bobby Darin, Willie Nelson, Alabama, The Platters, Alan Jackson, The Eagles and many more.
